I began my career in 1985 as a dental assistant in a general dentistry practice. For the last nine years I have worked in the business office for two dental specialty practices. I wanted to get back to general dentistry because I enjoy the interaction and long term relationships that are built when seeing patients every 3 to 6 months. I love all of the latest advances in technology that Dr. Herd has incorporated into his practice. The special attention to detail and customer service that we provide for every patient is outstanding.

What is most important to me as a dental hygienist is the individual needs of each patient. Whether helping a patient maintain their oral health or helping them get back on track with more in-depth treatment, I’m committed to providing friendly comfortable professional care. Dr. Herd’s office and staff provide the right positive environment with excellent care to do this. I received my dental hygiene degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, IUPUI. My husband and I live in Indianapolis and share our home with 2 cats.

I've been working with Dr. Herd since 1990. I've really enjoyed building relationships with our wonderful patients, especially watching their kids grow up with us. I have two boys that keep me very busy with sports, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
